WELCOME TO PAHADI LIVING

ROOM DETAILS, TARIFF & OPTIONAL SERVICES
We currently have 4 double-bed living spaces well decked up for your perfect mountain vacation - 2 SUITES, made of stones from the ruins of a channi (hut) that stood in the same property, and 2 PAHADI rooms (renovated traditional mountain home). The walls are made of stones plastered with a mix of mud, clay and straws as binding materials. Our rooms are aesthetically designed for a cosy mountain experience. Your comfort is our top priority and our staff will assist you wholeheartedly to settle in and experience Mountain Living. Fair warning,  if you come expecting a place with lobby, lifts, a gym, pool and a corporate styled service, you may be disappointed. We have lots of walking trails and winding pathways that will beat any treadmill or stairmaster, and a fresh mountain water lake with a view to die for. 
 
Our restaurant serves a limited assortment of mouth-watering meals, snacks and beverages, usually made to order. At Cafe Buransh, your wake up drink & breakfast are complimentary. All other meals are a la carte. Children below 6 years of age can stay for free without an extra bed. 12% GST extra.

The walls are made of stones plastered with a mix of mud, clay and straws as binding materials. The size and the walls of these rooms help you stay warm & cozy in the harshest of winters. Our Pahadi rooms are the coziest you will find in this altitude.

We made these rooms just big enough for a family or a group of friends, with windows wide enough for you to soak in all that fantastic view of the mighty Chandrashila!

600 (round trip, from the main road to our property). This service is complimentary for stays that are 2 nights & above. 

2. Guiding Support

500 - 1500. Chandrashila, Tungnath, Deoria Tal, Khiri Top and more. Charges subject to local guide availability & weather 

  • Kindly inform us at least a day before your arrival should you need any of the optional services, cause we only hire extra help on request.

  • Payment for this is to be made directly to the guide/porter/mule's caretaker. We take no share or commission for these services, on 'General Principle'. ​:)

RESERVATION & CANCELLATION POLICY

A reservation requires a deposit of 50% of the cost to be made as prepayment. The deposit is fully refundable (minus GST, if this has already been paid to the govt on your behalf) if the booking is cancelled up to 30 days before the arrival date. The deposit is eligible for a 30% refund if cancelled within 30 and 21 days before the arrival date. Bookings canceled within  21 days  of arrival will not be eligible for a refund.   

*Subject to availability of water from our natural sources. When water run scarce during the hot months here in the mountains, we turn off running water to do our bit  to reduce wastage. All rooms will be provided with buckets of water every day, enough for your basic needs. During these days, there will be controlled running water, usually for an hour in the  evening, if the weather is favourable. Even in this scarcity, we provide hot water in buckets, using immersion rods. :)
